What are Google gadgets?
Google gadgets are small web objects that you can display on your website for free. You can improve your site with the latest weather forecast, currency converter or mortgage loan calculator to name but a few. These content-rich gadgets catch the interest of your visitors and keeps them coming back
Google gadgets are easy to install. Just select the gadget you want from the Google gadgets directory, customize it to suite your need then copy-and-paste the HTML into your page’s source code. Reload to see the gadget on your page.
Google gadgets come in a number of languages and are categorized under:

I find it hard to find get the gadget I want. Although there is a rating and comment functionality for each gadget, noone seem to rate or comment on them(maybe because you cant be anonymous). Like Google Mini Apps directory much better. Or Google Modules.
